Did You

KNOW?

American Standard
Saves You Time & Money
Here's How…

Did You Know Toilets that flush on as little as 1.28 gallons of water can outperform older toilets that use more water?

Myth: There are no low consumption toilets that flush as well as the old water guzzling toilets. New low consumption toilets have weak flush, which means double flushing and constant plunging.

Fact: There are high performance toilets that actually outperform many of the old water guzzlers, using just 1.6 or 1.28 gallons of water per flush.

Fear of flushing is a fact. Most of us have experienced water-saving toilets that clog or may require multiple flushes. Those days are long gone. Advanced hydraulic engineering means that manufacturers such as American Standard can now provide high-performance toilets that use just 1.28 gallons of water.

Did you Know High Efficiency Toilets (HET's) Use 20% Less Water with Top Flushing Performance?

American Standard engineered a complete line of High Efficiency Toilets (HET's) that provide maximum performance, while saving both money and water. An HET means the toilet flushes with 20% less water than the currently mandated 1.6 gallons per flush.

Among the top performers are the Cadet 3 FloWise series, delivering the maximum flushing performance of a 1,000g MaP rating on 1.28 gallons of water – that's the equivalent of more than 2 pounds of bulk removal!

Did you Know HETs (High Efficiency Toilets) are available as dual flush and single flush toilets?

When making a water efficient selection you can choose from either a standard single flush option or a dual flush option. The single flush has one activation and uses 1.28 gallons per flush. The dual flush allows the user to select the flush; one button for liquid waste and one button for solid waste, providing up to a 30% water savings.

The American Standard Dual Flush FloWise uses 0.8 gpf for liquid waste and 1.6 gpf for solid waste. The dual flush option puts the decision in your hands each time and can save a family of four more than 6,000 gallons of water per toilet per year. The Cadet 3 series and Dual Flush FloWise also carry the EPA WaterSense® seal, meaning they are certified to perform well while conserving water.

Did you Know replacing an older toilet with an HET can save a family of four more than 4,000 gallons of water per toilet per year?

And it can be done through efficiency, not sacrifice!

American Standard HETs use less water than ordinary toilets and provide powerful flushing performance. The Cadet 3 FloWise series delivers the maximum flushing performance of a 1,000g MaP rating on 1.28 gallons of water and will save a family of four more than 4,000 gallons of water per toilet per year. Our Dual Flush FloWise uses 0.8 gpf for liquid waste and 1.6 gpf for solid waste. The dual flush option puts the decision in your hands each time and can save a family of four more than 6,000 gallons of water per toilet per year. The Cadet 3 series and Dual Flush FloWise also carry the EPA WaterSense® seal, meaning they are certified to perform well while conserving water. Saving water no longer requires a compromise.
