How often in the course of a day do you use your kitchen sink? And how many different ways do you use it? Filling a kettle, rinsing vegetables, soaking a saucepan, shampooing the puppy, topping up the coffee maker... etc, etc, etc. The kitchen sink is one of the busiest spots in the home, and the kitchen faucet plays a major role in keeping the traffic and the family moving.
“Our new Arch kitchen faucets are certainly easy on the eye, but all those good looks would be wasted if the faucet didn’t deliver the responsive performance that users expect,” says Graeme Lennox Marketing Manager, American Standard Brands Canada. “It is a combination of good design, consistent reliability, ease of use and meticulous engineering that enables Arch to contribute so much to the quality of every day kitchen functions in your home.”
That said, today’s design-conscious homeowners rate good looks very high when selecting kitchen fittings. Consumers today want style andperformance. Arch got its name from the famous architect who inspired its elegant curves – Eero Saarinen, designer of the St. Louis Gateway Arch. There are four unique models in the Arch Collection, each offering a special performance and installation advantage. Choose between a low or a high arch in the spout; between single-hole or deck plate mounting, and between pull-out or deck-mounted spray.
The spray is uniquely versatile. Under the spout, beneath your fingers, there’s a toggle button that lets you switch from spray to stream. There’s also a matching soap dish which installs on the deck beside the faucet.
Arch embodies technologies introduced and made famous by American Standard. They are the true pioneers of Ceramic Disc Valving and now have introduced, Speed Connect: a new installation system that uses 1/3 the parts and installs in 1/3 the time it takes to do a traditional installation.
The Arch Faucet Collection is available in polished chrome and in stainless steel, at Kitchen and Bath retail stores across the country. Prices range from $375 to $570.
